The Challenge
When school authorities at Breman M/A Basic School in the KEEA Municipality’s Agona Circuit asked about establishing a computer laboratory, it reflected a wider reality: digital skills are no longer optional for today’s learners, and schools in underserved communities are often left behind as technology reshapes education.
As part of the expansion of the Foundation’s Digital Literacy Initiative, a needs-assessment visit evaluated the school’s infrastructure readiness and learning gaps, to make sure geography or economic background didn’t determine a child’s access to digital opportunity.

Our Work
Working with development partner RazorSpire, the Foundation agreed the project’s scope and timeline, with work beginning in the first week of December 2025, timed deliberately as a surprise gift to the school ahead of the Christmas break.
- ICT room refurbished: The designated room was repainted and fully rewired electrically to safely support computers and a projector.
- New furniture: Delivered in the build’s second week.
- Computers and equipment installed: The lab was fully set up just days before schools closed for Christmas.
Impact
With Breman complete, the Foundation now runs three fully functional computer laboratories across KEEA Municipality, equipping students with foundational digital skills for both examinations and the demands of a digital world, and narrowing the digital divide for underserved communities.
